Jacquin M. Davidson has joined Plaza Bank as Vice President and Commercial Banking Officer.


In addition to her connections with the real estate industry and individual investors, Jacquin Davidson is Plaza Bank’s specialist in nonprofit banking.  Together with a team of experts, Jacquin obtains operational knowledge of the organization and designs a custom program of banking needs for each organization.  Her 28 years of experience as a community volunteer is invaluable for this business niche’.

Following a successful and multi-faceted career that includes her own business, education, fundraising, sales, mediation and advertising, Ms. Davidson entered the banking industry in 2002 as Vice President, Private Banking Officer with Commercial Capital Bank and in 2007 joined the Plaza Bank Team.

It is her experience in a wide range of businesses as well as her deep involvement with a raft of community and professional associations that make Ms. Davidson sui generis in banking. She has held a number of leadership positions with important community groups, including the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, The Girl Scout Council of Orange County, The American Heart Association, Women’s Philanthropy Fund, Women’s Empowerment Portfolio Financial Literacy Chair, Race for the Cure Chair, Women Investing in Security & Education and Soroptimist International – Desert Coast Region.  In addition to winning several professional and community leadership awards, she has won two Presidential Service Nominations. Davidson has been nominated for the Orange County Business Journal’s Outstanding Women in Business Award in 05, 06 & 07’ and is nominated for the NAWBO Remarkable Women Award in 07’. 

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in art and education, Ms. Davidson started out as a junior high school teacher. Upon relocating to the West Coast in 1979, she joined J. Walter Thompson Advertising Agency as Facilities Director and National Production Manager.  In the 1980s and ’90s, Ms. Davidson was in sales and was the President of a business in the entertainment in industry for 17 years.  She worked with production companies, actors and photographers all over the world and had offices in LA, OC & San Diego.  Jacquin has also consulted on a capital campaign and raised $14 million dollars in that two-year role. In 1998 she was certified as a mediator & arbitrator and started Davidson Associates.  She continues to practice and is on the ADR Panel of the Los Angeles Superior Court. 

Ms. Davidson resides in Laguna Niguel and enjoys golfing, sailing, gardening and walks on the beach with her dog, Eddie.
